The Artesia Chamber of Commerce joined Desert Skies Tanning in celebrating the business’ grand opening Saturday, June 8. Desert Skies offers three private rooms with two 15-minute beds and one 20-minute bed. These beds have high-quality bulbs and are very quiet, with an internal fan/exhaust system to keep the temperature comfortable. Hours are 1-7 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (last session at 6:30 p.m.), 3-7 p.m. Wednesdays (last session at 6:30 p.m.) and 1-5 p.m. Fridays (last session at 4:30 p.m.).
