TO THE EDITOR:

The Artesia Community Theatre recently held a Murder Mystery event at Cottonwood Wine and Brewing. The Who-Dun-It, where the attendees were the characters, was a free event for members and community alike.

We would not have been able to have had such a great time without the help of three of our local companies. Cottonwood Wine and Brewing, whose owner, Susan Mahan, and her staff of Sondra Coddington (with husband Kevin), and Leah Boone (with husband Troyce), were amazingly helpful and involved. The other two were owner Gail Patton of Castle Rentals, who was generous with staging, and Artesia Daily Press, which advertised our event in Around Town, and its staffer Elizabeth Lewis joined our group that evening as a character and published a picture from the evening.

We appreciate the aid of all of those listed and the participants along with the ACT volunteers. Thank you one and all!
