The City of Carlsbad and the Department of Energy hosted a special meeting Thursday evening that featured a presentation from the Technical Assessment Team (TAT) on the Accident Investigation Report Phase II for the Feb. 14, 2014, radiological event at the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP).
Ted Wyka, chairman of the Accident Investigation Board, gave the presentation, which followed the AIB’s Phase I Report that was focused on the immediate response to the event. That report was issued April 22, 2014. … For the rest of the story, subscribe in print and on the web.
