TO THE EDITOR:

The Artesia Police Department would like to take the opportunity to thank the many people and organizations involved in putting together the Prayer Gathering for First Responders that took place on Tuesday the 27th at the High School Auditorium.

This event shows the kind of continued support our community off ers and we are sure will continue to off er in the future. With the issues facing us as a country today, public offi cials legitimately trying to serve the people they are sworn to can use all of the support they can get, and this event did not let us down.

Again, thank you, and we continue to look forward to more working relationships with citizens.

Cmdr. Lindell Smith Artesia Police Department
