ARTESIA — The Artesia Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating an Artesia man suspected in the July 5 shooting that left 27-year-old Andres Rojo dead and another man wounded.
The crime occurred just after midnight July 5 in the 1400 block of Yucca Avenue. Upon arrival, APD officers were directed to Rojo, who had suffered a single gunshot wound to the chest. He was transported from the scene to Artesia General Hospital, where a second victim – a 23-year-old male whose identity has not been released – suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso had already been taken. … For the rest of the story, subscribe in print and on the web.
