Members of the Artesia Police Department and Artesia Fire Department hold baked goods given to them by accompanying members of Women on Mission Ministry at First Baptist Church on Monday morning. The ministry members will be donating baked goods to the departments for the duration of April to show their gratitude toward the men and women who serve the community. “We want to say thank you and let them know we are praying for them,” explained Women on Mission Ministry Co-Director Addie Robinson. The ministry group encourages other community members to bring baked goods to the Total Life Center at the church to be delivered to the APD/AFD.
