Artesia Public Schools students and their families turned out in droves Friday evening for the Back to School Bash at Faith Baptist Church. More than 1,500 children were seen with smiles on their faces and goodie bags in tow. The event, designed to usher in the new school year in Artesia, featured activities, games, prizes and food.
