The Artesia City Council will hold a pair of public hearings at its regularly-scheduled meeting Tuesday.

The first hearing concerns the consideration of a transfer of ownership of three liquor licenses previously held by Brewer Oil Co. for its gas stations and convenience stores at 2601 W. Main St., 101 N. First St. and 1304 S. First St.

The second regards the amendment of the Master Plan of the Yates Farms Planned Unit Development, located in the area of Bowman and JJ Clarke drives. Three parcels of land would be re-designated from Public Use to Commercial and Multi-Residential, and one 10-acre parcel would be designated for Public Use.

The council will also discuss the curb striping situation on Mahone and JJ Clarke drives, its upcoming retreat, and a possible date and/or time change for its June 26 meeting.

Tuesday’s meeting is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall.
