Workers with Double C Construction continue to remove stucco this afternoon from the awning on the front of the Artesia Daily Press offices at 503 W. Main St. The construction became necessary last year when a portion of the awning became compromised and began to sag over the sidewalk below. The current awning is being removed, and further renovation to the front of the building will be conducted in the future. Teresa Lemon – Daily Press
