Services are scheduled for 9 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, at Hermosa Church of Christ for Eulogio Almager of Albuquerque.

Almager, 76, passed away Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016, in Albuquerque.

Taylor Robles will officiate at the services, with interment to follow at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gabriel Almager, Elijah Almager, Crystal Almager, Sydney Almager, Matthew Almager and Isaiah Almager.

Visitation will be held from 2-8 p.m. today at Terpening & Son Mortuary.

Eulogio was born Jan. 9, 1940, in Las Cruces, the son of Marcelino and Taniz (Villarreal) Almager. He came to Artesia in 1945 from Las Cruces.

On Feb. 18, 1957, he married Martina Valdez in Carlsbad.

He was an owner/operator in the metal recycling business and a member of Calvary Chapel in Albuquerque. Eulogio enjoyed fishing and reading his Bible.

Survivors include his wife, Martina Almager, of Albuquerque; sons J.R. Almager of Los Lunas, Gilbert Almager and Marcelino Almager, both of Albuquerque, and Miguel Almager of Artesia; daughter Yolanda Solis of Littlefield, Texas; brothers Larry Rodriquez and Fred Cruz, both of Artesia; sisters Ruth Venegas and June Almager, both of Seminole, Texas; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Tim Almager; and sister Lalita Almager.
