Residents in the 1700 block of South 17th Street inspect the damage to a motorcycle after the vehicle caught fire Tuesday evening. The Artesia Fire Department was dispatched to the scene at 6:53 p.m. and arrived at 6:57 p.m. to find the blaze already extinguished. Fire Marshal James Abner says the motorcycle was heavily damaged and reported to be a total loss.
