Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 13, at Faith Baptist Church for Mary Gail Harrison Norrell.

Harrison-Norrell, 77, went to be with her Lord Sunday, April 10, 2016, in Artesia.

Pastor Robby Ballew will officiate at the services, with interment to follow at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons Joe Nichols, Gary Boyce, Henry Boyce, Alvis Boyce, Toby Copeland and Raymond Copeland. Honorary pallbearers are family and friends.

Visitation will be held until 8 p.m. today at Terpening & Son Mortuary.

Gail was born Oct. 19, 1938, in Artesia, the daughter of Henry Alvis and Vera Gladys (George) White.

On Dec. 23, 1964, she married Curtis Harrison, who preceded her in death. On April 4, 2014, she married Bob Norrell.

She has been a member of Faith Baptist Church for many years.

Gail was a very loving housewife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. Many people remember her for her hug, the flower in her hair, and her love she had for people.

Survivors include her husband, Bob Norrell, of the family home; daughters Terry Copeland and husband Jimmy, Sherry Patman and husband Johnny, Vachel Harrison, and Bobbie Neal and husband David of Florida; son Larry Russell and wife Deborah of Tennessee; daughter-in-law Rene Norrell of Oklahoma; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; brother William “Bill” Wayne White and wife Cookie of Artesia; sister Kay Permenter and husband Bo of Washington; brother-in-law Glynn Harrison; sisters-in-law Joann White, Carol Harrison, Barbra Harrison Bedingfield, Eula Marie Cox Harrison and Billie Sims; aunt Mary Ellen Herron; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends who she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her husband Curtis Harrison; parents Henry Alvis and Vera Gladys (George) White; sister Zona White Humphrey and husband Bill; brothers Allen Ray White and Henry E. “Sonny” White and wife Marylyn Bratcher White.
