To officially welcome its newest additions, Dr. Dwight Holden and Dr. Clarence Pearson, Artesia General Hospital (AGH) held a meet-and-greet luncheon Tuesday afternoon.
Receiving his undergraduate degree from Abilene Christian University and his medical degree from the Southwestern Medical Center at the University of Texas, Holden joins the AGH staff as the Adult Mental Health and Medical Director of the Senior Care Unit and as a psychiatrist who specializes in geriatric psychiatry. He is recognized as a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and has extensive expertise and experience in telemedicine. … For the rest of the story, subscribe in print and on the web.
Holden will be assisted by Deena Baer, RN, the Director of Senior Care. Baer is an Artesia High School graduate, receiving her Associates of Nursing Degree from Eastern New Mexico University. Before returning to Artesia, Baer worked at Albuquerque’s Presbyterian Hospital as the night charge nurse of a 62-bed surgical unit and, this year, was recognized with AGH’s Golden Stethoscope Award.
