
Cody Johnson and The Nightowls will both be in concert this week at The Liberty in Roswell.
Johnson, a country singer-songwriter from Huntsville, Texas, is set to perform at 8 p.m. Wednesday, with doors opening at 6 p.m.
Johnson won the Texas Regional Music Award for New Male Vocalist of the Year in 2011 and released his fifth album, “Cowboy Like Me,” in 2014, which debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart and at No. 33 on the Billboard 200.
The Nightowls are a soul and R&B group from Austin, Texas, whose debut album, “Good As Gold,” earned Top 10 placement in the 2014 Austin Music Awards Albums of the Year.
The Nightowls have performed as showcase artists at the SXSW Music Festival in 2015 and 2016 and released “Right Around The Corner,” the second single from their five-track EP “Royal Sessions,” in May.
