Members of the Artesia Chamber of Commerce, Artesia Trailblazers, and the staff of Little Castle Learning and Development Center celebrate the opening of the new business Friday morning at 108 S. 14th St. Pictured from left are Zac Gomez, Elizabeth Smith, Hermie Harris, Hayley Klein, Kelcey McCaleb, Jessa Anderson, Marimar Gonzalez, Angela Martel, Alyssa Torrez, Missy Caldwell, Danny Carter, Audrey Crane, Roberta McCaw, Lisa Saylor, Cassandra Enriquez-Flores, Jessica Hernandez, Michael Bunt, Susie McCaw and Jesse Brownfield. Little Castle, a nonprofit preschool and childcare center, will provide childcare in a positive, learning atmosphere for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. “We’re very excited to be able to serve the community of Artesia,” said Missy Caldwell, executive director of Lending Hands Inc. “It is our hope that Little Castle will inspire leaders of tomorrow.”
