An 85-year-old Artesia man died yesterday in a side-impact car crash at the intersection of Richey Avenue and First Street.
Eddy County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the intersection at 6:41 a.m. Monday in reference to an accident with injuries.
According to the Artesia Police Department’s Sgt. Lindell Smith, Robert Aguilar was driving a 1990 white Buick four door east bound on Richey Avenue and struck a 2000 Cadillac SUV, traveling south on U.S. Highway 285, from the side. … For the rest of the story, subscribe in print and on the web.
