A celebration of life memorial is scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6, at Faith Baptist Church for Lorenza Rascon Franco.

Franco, 72, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2015, surrounded by her loving husband and daughter, Sophy.

A reception will follow the services. Cremation has taken place.

Franco loved the Lord and showed His love through her kindness, selfless giving, humility, and gentle compassion. She loved her children and friends, and was a visible expression of God’s unconditional love.

Words cannot describe how much Lorenza will be missed. Thank you, Mom, for the wonderful life you gave us. Love you always.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years and their children, Susan and Richard Aragon, Sophy Briseno, Joe and Nancy Franco, Delores and Frank Ramirez, Sonya Franco, and Salomon Franco; 14 grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Larry and Frank Rascon; four sisters, Grace Cepeda, Ruth Perez, Esther Tena and Martha Ruiz; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved her so much.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Casimiro and Tina Rascon; her loving son, Willie Jr.; a precious granddaughter, Brooke Nicole; and her two brothers, Casimiro Jr. and Carmen Rascon.
