Artesia police arrested Dustin M. Wade, 19, of Artesia, Sunday on a list of charges including assault on a peace officer, breaking and entering, and minor in possession.
According to the report, Artesia Police Department officers were dispatched around 4:30 a.m. Sunday to McDonald’s in reference to disorderly conduct. When officers arrived on the scene, they made contact with the manager of McDonald’s, who told the officers the suspect, later identified as Wade, was trying to get into the drive-through windows by prying them open with a knife. … For the rest of the story, subscribe in print and on the web.
