Discovering a pet has cancer is devastating, and not being able to afford treatment is heart wrenching beyond words. The cost of cancer care for dogs is surprising: $1,500 for a surgical procedure, and for some still not able to pay for basic treatment, they are faced with no choice but to euthanize or give up their pet.
