Monte D. Anderson passed away the morning of June 15, 2016, after a short and aggressive battle with cancer.
Monte worked in Artesia as a teacher at Park Junior High and later worked in the laboratory at Navajo Refining Corp.
He will be remembered as a genuinely nice guy, who loved a great conversation over a good cup of coffee. He will be missed greatly.
Survivors include his wife, Jean C. Anderson; his children, Lane Anderson and Abby Anderson; and his beautiful grandchildren, Charlotte and Lily Anderson.
