Members of the American Navion Society gather post landing after their speed contest at the Artesia Airport Tuesday morning. The society was formed in 1960 by owners of Navion aircraft, single-engine, unpressurized, retractable-gear, four-seat planes originally designed and constructed in the 1940s by North American Aviation. The Navion Society is currently holding its 56th Navion Convention in Ruidoso through June 24.
