Artesians will be able to enjoy an evening of “Boomer humor” while supporting a worthy cause Saturday, Nov. 4, as the North Eddy County United Way hosts the Baby Boomer Comedy Show.
The show is a hilarious, 90-minute theater event featuring clean humor on topics to which the Boomer generation can relate – family, kids, work, do-it-yourself projects, dieting, aging, and more.
Fellow Baby Boomers and veteran comedians Jan McInnis and Kent Rader have joined their talents in a unique show that’s packed with both “ha ha” and “aha” moments for all.
The pair has a combined 30 years’ worth of experience performing for theaters, corporations and associations throughout the country and have played thousands of conventions and professional events.
Rader is known as the “World’s Cleanest Comedian” and is a past winner of the Branson Comedy Festival. McInnis has been featured in the Wall Street Journal and the Washington Post for her clean humor.
The show will begin at 6 p.m. Nov. 4 at the Ocotillo Performing Arts Center. Doors will open at 5 p.m.
Tickets are $20 each and will be sold at the door. All proceeds will benefit NECUW and the local member agencies it supports.
