A U.S. Postal Service delivery vehicle sits half on the sidewalk on 10th Street Tuesday following an accident that took place in the area of 10th and Richey Avenue. According to Artesia Police Department Cmdr. Lindell Smith, the wreck occurred when a Chrysler PT Cruiser struck the mail vehicle. Two people were transported to Artesia General Hospital but sustained no visible injuries. The driver of the PT Cruiser was cited for careless driving and no insurance. Ben Theobald – Daily Press
