Senator Tom Udall (D-N.M.) delivered remarks Thursday at a ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the opening of Artesia’s new Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Community Based Outpatient Clinic.
The new, larger facility, located at 2410 W. Main St., is equipped with state-of-the-art “telehealth” technologies that will help improve the quality of care veterans receive and reduce the distance veterans must travel to access specialized care.
