The New Mexico School for the Arts is offering one Artesia student a scholarship to attend an upcoming four-day dance workshop in Roswell. The workshop will be held June 4-7 at Miss Minnie’s School of Ballet in Roswell as part of he 10th Annual Dance Intensity Summer Workshop. Students attending will work with three instructors and will learn lyrical, modern and jazz dance. Over the past two years, the NMSA has provided a number of arts workshops for more than 500 students in Artesia, Lake Arthur, Roswell and Carlsbad in theatre, art, music, creative writing, and dance.
