Some coincidences can’t be ignored.
Tragedy struck on May 1 when a woman was seriously injured after the driver of a truck inadvertently hit her and dragged her 15 feet before running twice over her head.
It was local EMT Toby Bratcher’s day off and he was filling up his truck at the Artesia Walmart gas station. Seconds before he found a free pump – they were all taken at the busy station – he noticed Debbie Fulton, a Walmart employee, kneeling near a pump to clean out a fuel cell opening.
