In September, First Baptist Church organizers began shopping for clothing and educational or fun toy items to begin filling shoeboxes for the annual Operation Christmas Child.
The church will begin to collect the shoeboxes Nov. 17. Susan Simmons started the FBC group participating in Samaritans Purse in 2006, and this year marks the 10th Annual Operation Christmas Child initiative to send shoeboxes to children overseas. … For the rest of the story, subscribe in print and on the web.
