CHRISTMAS FIESTA — Roselawn Elementary School’s first-graders presented a “Christmas Fiesta” last week for their families, friends, and Roselawn staff. The program, under the direction of music teacher Debra Leonard, included such songs as “Cancion De La Navidad,” “Keep It Light” and “No Pinata.” (Teresa Lemon – Daily Press)
PACKS OF LOVE DEVOTIONAL REMEMBERS LOCAL GIRL — Packs of Love recently came together to compile Christmas care packages of gifts and food for local children and families in need. Included in the packages were devotionals in memory of Kayci Houghtaling, daughter of Ty and Jennifer Houghtaling, who passed away in December 2011. The devotionals feature a photo of Kayci and a message of faith she penned. (Teresa Lemon – Daily Press)
