Public Forum: APD thanks citizens for aiding officers

TO THE EDITOR:

The Artesia Police Department would like to thank the unnamed citizens who helped officers when they were stuck last week on the snow and ice.

We appreciate that the situation was made better and therefore department response to calls for service were made more efficient by the help offered to the officers operating on the streets during this rough time caused by the weather.
