Fellow Citizens of Eddy County,
My name is Carroll Caudill. I am the retired Commander of the Pecos Valley Drug Task Force. I retired after a Law Enforcement career which lasted a little over 30 years. I tell you this so that you will have a little background and understanding of how I came to make my choice on who to support for the upcoming primary for the Eddy County Sheriff’s race.
I served with and under many different types of leaders and leadership styles, to include five different Eddy County Sheriffs. In this particular instance, I have worked closely with all four candidates; all four are fine, upstanding gentlemen with distinguished Law Enforcement careers. Therefore, when making my choice I can tell you that it is based on my own personal experiences and knowledge gained from working closely with these candidates.
My choice for Eddy County Sheriff is Mark Cage!
Mark has served as the Eddy County Undersheriff for the last three and a half years. During this time he has served with distinction and honor. Currently, Mark is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Pecos Valley Drug Task Force, as well as the Chair of the Regional Task Force Board and the Chair of the N.M. HIDTA (High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area) Board. As well as a civilian law enforcement career which has spanned more than 20 years, Mark is also a retired Navy Chief Petty Officer (which is an accomplishment in and of itself).
The qualities, attributes, and experience that Mark possesses demonstrate his ability to manage and facilitate a multi-million-dollar budget, and more importantly lead men and serve the citizens of Eddy County.
Mark Cage is the logical choice with proven leadership skills and I strongly recommend that you vote “Mark Cage for Eddy County Sheriff!”
