TO THE EDITOR:
This letter is to say thank you to Cooper Henderson for the great job he has done with the Bulldog football team and program.
He always found a way to win. His 14 state championships I believe out of 15 trips is very, very good. If something went wrong in some of his plays, he would come right back with another one that would be a winner.
No wonder Artesia is called the City of Champions.
We also don’t want to forget Mike Phipps and L.G. Henderson. They also had a lot to do with that proud name.
Thanks, Cooper. I know you will continue doing good work for the department of Artesia Bulldog athletics.
