ARTESIA MAGISTRATE COURT

Judge Daniel Reyes Jr.

David G. Rosales, 28, of Artesia, found guilty of a probation violation. Sentenced to 28 days in ECDC.

Thomas Crook, 34, of Artesia, bound over to district court on charges of issuing worthless checks (over $25).

Natalia Montez, 30, of Artesia, found guilty of probation violation and failure to pay fines. Sentenced to 125 days in ECDC.

Manuel Salcido, 26, of Hagerman, scheduled to appear Feb. 28 for preliminary examination on charges of unlawful taking of a motor vehicle and resisting, evading or obstructing an officer.

Dion Ochoa, 24, of Artesia, found guilty of battery against a household member, disorderly conduct, battery, possession of marijuana, and tampering with evidence. Sentenced to 60 days in ECDC. Total fines and fees $700.

Jessie M. Carmona—Mendoza, 29, of Artesia, bound over to district court on charges of receiving stolen property (firearm), felon in possession of a firearm, resisting, evading or obstructing an officer, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Carlos Soto, 34, of Artesia, scheduled to appear April 4 for pretrial conference on charges of battery.

David V. Bernal, 33, of Artesia, scheduled to appear March 7 for pretrial conference on charges of larceny (over $250).
