Cornelio Lucero, 41, of Artesia, scheduled to appear May 2 for preliminary examination on charges of fraud and forgery.

Charges of battery against a household member dismissed against Mary Tapia, 53, of Jal.

Lance Osburn, 35, of Artesia, scheduled to appear May 16 for pretrial conference on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Fabian Amaya, 27, of Artesia, found guilty of DWI (third offense) and unlawful use of a license. Sentenced to 37 days in ECDC. Total fines and fees $1,452.

Veronica D. Valenzuela, 48, of Artesia, scheduled to appear May 2 for preliminary examination on charges of burglary and larceny.

Monica Munoz Ramirez, 35, of Artesia, found guilty of probation violation. Sentenced to 30 days in ECDC. Total fines and fees $100. In a separate ruling, Ramirez was scheduled to appear May 16 for pretrial conference on charges of battery against a household member, aggravated DWI, and resisting, evading or obstructing an officer.

Issac Bishop, 29, of Artesia, found guilty of a probation violation. Sentenced to 78 days in ECDC. Total fines and fees $100.

Randy Fernandez, 31, of Artesia, found not guilty of probation violation.
