ARRESTS

9:05 a.m. – Ernesto Lopez, 24, of Artesia, arrested on charges receiving stolen property, battery upon a peace officer resisting evading or obstructing an officer, and prowling, and magistrate warrants for failure to appear and failure to pay fines.

10:26 a.m. – David Rutherford, 28, of Artesia, arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and resisting, evading or obstructing an officer.

6:17 p.m. – Aaron Vasquez, 20, of Artesia, arrested and charged with burglary of a vehicle, criminal damage to property, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

7:07 p.m. – Luis Duran, 36, of Artesia, arrested on an Adult Probation Office hold.

10:36 p.m. – Jarred Michael Valdez, 35, of Artesia, arrested on charges of criminal sexual contact of a minor and a magistrate warrant for child endangerment.
