A Bureau of Indian Affairs officer places a flower at the base of the Indian Law Enforcement Officer’s Memorial this morning during the 24th Annual Indian Country Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Service at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center. Members of the BIA, the International Association of Chiefs of Police, and the FLETC gathered to honor tribal, state, local and federal law enforcement officers who gave their lives in the line of duty.
