Memorial services are pending for Robert Bernard Schneider of Sawyer, Okla.
Schneider, 61, passed away Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015, in Sawyer.
He was born March 17, 1954, in Dallas, Texas, the son of Bernard William Schneider and Billie Kay (Markham) Schneider.
On Nov. 29, 1996, he married Jennifer Wolfe in Artesia.
He was a member of Moose Lodge No. 2152 and the Masonic Lodge in Artesia and enjoyed fishing, hunting, working with horses, and being with his family.
He had resided in Sawyer since February 2007.
Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Schneider; two sons, John Robert Schneider and David William Schneider, both of Artesia; four daughters, Natalie Renea Schneider of the home, Tammy Eileen Poage of Farmington, W.V., Heather Marie Poage of Sawyer, and Amanda Lynn Steed of Artesia; one sister, Jo Lynn Schneider, of Artesia; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Lori Lynn Schneider, in 1985; and a brother, John Allen Schneider.
His family would like to give special thanks to all of their family and friends for their support during this time.
