Robby Taylor

A celebration of life is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, March 3, at Faith Baptist Church for Robert “Robby” Jud Taylor of Odessa, Texas.

Taylor, 59, passed peacefully from this life to the next Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018.

Pastor Michael Elliot will officiate the services.

Robby was born Aug. 31, 1958, in Artesia to Jud and Teresa Taylor.

He had a love of motorcycles and considered himself a “jack of all trades.” He was a natural mechanic and enjoyed spending time helping family and friends with projects. He was useful, resourceful and reliable, always a phone call away for anyone needing help.

He was loved deeply by his children and many grandchildren.

Survivors include daughter and namesake Robbie Taylor of Artesia; sons Brian and Joshua Taylor, both of Artesia, and Jeremy Taylor of Carlsbad; and brother Pat Taylor.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; and one sister.
