Jr Villa

Memorial services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, at the Eagles Lodge, 1200 E. White St., Hobbs, for Santiago “Jr” Herrera Villa Jr.

Villa, 74, passed away Monday, Oct. 9, 2017, in Denver. Colo., with loved ones at his side.

He was born Aug. 21, 1943, in Artesia to Santiago Rede and Nestora (Herrera) Villa.

Survivors include siblings Mary Roush of New Albany, Ohio, and Emelie Garcia of Hobbs; children Patricia Villa of Albuquerque, Donna Villa Lopez and husband Leo of Hobbs, Kathy Villa and Terry McIntire of Denver, Colo., and Jimmy Villa and Lisa of Hobbs; grandchildren Stacy and Marcus Munoz, Yvonne Rodriguez, Andrew and Leo Lopez, Markus and Keith Villa, Jimmy Villa and wife Monica, and Noah, Vanessa, AJ and Santiago Villa; and great-grandchildren Alyssa Kneip, Kristina Lopez, Myla Rivera and Isaiah Villa.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Santiago and Nestora Villa; sisters Emiliana Villa, Tomasa Quiroz, Geneva Lopez, Ramona Barela and Catrina Brizeno; and brothers Francisco “Frank” Villa, Nicolas Villa and John “Johnny” Villa.
