Members of the Pecos Valley Special Olympics, supporters, law enforcement, and members of the Lady Bulldog softball team pose for a photo Saturday afternoon at the Airplane Park on North First Street during the annual Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run. The Lovington, Tatum and Carlsbad Police Departments, New Mexico State Police, Eddy and Lea County sheriff’s departments, and Pecos Valley Drug Task Force made runs Saturday from Carlsbad and Lovington to Artesia as part of the Southeast New Mexico portion of the event.
