All museums under the New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs (DCA) will offer free admission to active-duty military, veterans, and National Guard personnel Friday in celebration of Veterans’ Day.

“Offering a free admission day in honor of their service is a small token of the gratitude we share for the service and sacrifice of our military men and women,” said DCA cabinet secretary Veronica Gonzales.

Participating DCA museums include:

New Mexico History Museum/Palace of the Governors, New Mexico Museum of Art, Museum of International Folk Art, and Museum of Indian Arts and Culture in Santa Fe; New Mexico Museum of Space History, Alamogordo; New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science, Albuquerque; New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum, Las Cruces; and the Art Museum at the National Hispanic Cultural Center, Albuquerque.
