Services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26, at Kaster-Maxon & Futrell Funeral Home, 8817 Dyer St., El Paso, Texas, for Steve “Viper” MacKinnon.

MacKinnon, 60, passed away Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018.

Interment will follow the services at Restlawn Cemetery in El Paso. Visitation will be held from 5-9 p.m. today at Kaster-Maxon & Futrell Funeral Home.

Steve was born July 28, 1957, in Merkel, Texas, and came to El Paso in 1958.

In 1985, he married Joy Britton.

The couple moved to Artesia in 1994, where Steve worked as a mechanic at Navajo Refining Co.

Survivors include his parents, Scottie and Mayrene MacKinnon, of El Paso; brother Paul MacKinnon of El Paso; and daughter Jessica MacKinnon of Duncanville, Texas.

Arrangements are under the direction of Kaster-Maxon & Futrell Funeral Home.
