Tate Branch of Tate Branch Auto Group in Artesia, Carlsbad and Hobbs would like to thank all those who purchased a vehicle from Tate Branch Auto Group in October. With each vehicle purchased, a donation was allocated to the Heritage Land Bank, Heritage Harvey Challenge.
The Heritage Harvey Challenge is a special matching campaign in partnership with the Texas Farm Bureau to raise $100,000 or more to aid Texas farmers and ranchers hit hardest by Hurricane Harvey. Tate Branch Auto Group raised $20,400 that will be donated to the fund, doubling the donation to $40,800.
“It is very humbling to be able to donate to such a worthy cause and to help provide assistance to so many farmers, ranchers and families experiencing such extreme devastation… and for Heritage Land Bank to match our donation is huge,” said Branch.
“It is an honor to lead the Tate Branch team and be associated with such a dynamic group of people, allowing us the ability to contribute to those in a time of need,” said Nick Boyd, Tate Branch CEO.
All funds donated will go to the Texas Farm Bureau’s Hurricane Harvey Fund for distribution to qualified applicants from counties in the designated relief areas.
“Now that the flood waters have receded, we’re beginning to understand the catastrophic damage that Hurricane Harvey inflicted on the agricultural community,” said Bill Tandy, CEO of Heritage Land Bank. “Those farmers and ranchers need funds to start rebuilding and getting themselves back up on their feet.”
“We are proud to be associated with this fundraising challenge. The generosity of Heritage Land Bank, its board of directors and everyone who donates will make a real difference in the lives of many of the rural families devastated by the hurricane,” said Texas Farm Bureau President Russell Boening.
“The Heritage Harvey Challenge is a great way to double the impact of your donations and assist our friends and neighbors,” Jay Novacek, former Dallas Cowboys all-star and spokesman for Heritage Land Bank and Tate Branch Auto Group, added. “It’s what we do; we come together to help those in need.”
