A teen involved in a rollover accident Sunday afternoon near the intersection of Richey Avenue and 41st Street is recovering in a Lubbock, Texas, hospital.
The accident occurred just before 1 p.m. Sunday. According to Artesia Police Department Cmdr. Lindell Smith, a medical episode resulted in the high-speed rollover, and the 15-year-old driver was airlifted to Lubbock.
Smith says as of last word, the boy was listed in stable condition.
