It was an eventful three days for the City of Artesia as the journey of the Peter Hurd mural “The Future Belongs to Those Who Prepare for It” finally arrived at the site of the new Artesia Public Library after several weather and travel delays.
The delivery process from Midland, Texas, to Artesia underwent a day-and-a-half of postponements but rolled into town Thursday afternoon. The mural’s future does now truly “belong to those who prepared for it.” … For the rest of the story, subscribe in print and on the web.
