The Artesia High School boys’ and girls’ track and field teams worked with HollyFrontier and Navajo Refining Friday afternoon to help clean out unwanted weeds at the Navajo Nature Trail along Eagle Draw near Centennial and West JJ Clarke drives.
The students picked and raked out pounds of weeds and disposed of them as a way to express gratitude to HollyFrontier, which donated $3,500 to the AHS track program. … For the rest of the story, subscribe in print and on the web.
