The Eddy County Recycled Art Show opened today at the Artesia Public Library, featuring pieces created from “repurposed” materials, such as the one above by Zia Intermediate School students Mauricio Marrufo, Xavier Alvarado and Millie Maynard. The students’ work earned them first place in their age division. The show will continue through March 22. Grace Miller – Daily Press
