ARTESIA — Senators Tom Udall (D-N.M.) and Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) composed a letter Thursday aimed at clarifying some of the issues involved in the ongoing strike between contracted workers at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) and Omni Corporation.
The senators submitted the letter to Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson asking him to specify whether the collective bargaining agreement between the workers and Omni remains in place, as well as clarify the labor provisions in that agreement versus what the workers have been told. … For the rest of the story, subscribe in print and on the web.
