Above, volunteers work to refurbish the interior of Grammy’s House. Volunteers from HollyFrontier, Navajo Refining Co., Concho Resources and Habitat for Humanity all pitched in to refresh the local domestic violence shelter. “We are forever grateful to this community,” said Grammy’s House executive director Celina Bryant. “Artesia truly has the spirit of volunteerism, and it is evident in the spirit of love.” Below, Bryant, right, poses with her dog, Bentley, and Debbie Bell, Community Affairs coordinator with HollyFrontier. “Thank you to Debbie and al her volunteers!” Bryant said.
