After three months of meticulous planning, West Main Baptist Church Children’s Minister Nita Gwynne and Becky Crockett opened the doors Monday on the new His Kids Learning Center.
“We have had several people in our church say that we need more childcare,” Gwynne said. “So after five or six people came up to us, we said to ourselves that maybe it’s time to look into this. … For the rest of the story, subscribe in print and on the web.
“After that, we had all of these different people who were qualified in different areas come together … It’s been a very busy summer, and we’re very excited to provide this service to the community and have kids here.”
