The Department of Energy (DOE) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) held a “stakeholders” meeting Tuesday in Carlsbad at the Skeen-Whitlock Building at which an application was presented that would allow the recertification of the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP).
